HI-VISIBILITY TYPE 0 CLASS 1 - OFF-ROAD
Intended for use in environments where there are struck-by hazards from moving vehicles, equipment and machinery not operating on public access rights of way or temporary traffic control zones.
HI-VISIBILITY TYPE R CLASS 2 - ROADWAY
Intended for use by personnel exposed to vehicular traffic from public access rights of way or roadway temporary traffic control zones. Class 2 garments require the use of greater amounts of high-visibility materials which help distinguish between a human and an inanimate object.
HI-VISIBILITY TYPE R CLASS 3 - ROADWAY
Intended for use by personnel exposed to vehicular traffic from public access rights of way or roadway temporary traffic control zones. Class 3 garments mandate an even higher standard of visibility for workers in moving, complex backgrounds.
HI-VISIBILITY SUPPLEMENTAL CLASS E
Pants, bib overalls, shorts and gaiters meeting minimum area requirements for background material and retroreflective trim. Class E apparel, however, cannot be worn alone to provide adequate visibility of workers. When Class E items are worn with Performance Class 2 or 3 apparel, the overall classification of the ensemble is Performance Class 3.
UPF 40 RATING

IL-HS (HEAVY SOIL)
This method of industrial laundering is commonly
used to remove heavy soil with a combination of higher water temperature (160°F max) and harsher chemistry; pH should be held to 11.5 max. More aggressive wash formulas may be necessary to remove heavy soils but may result in accelerated color loss, deterioration in performance of retroreflective trim and overall reduced garment service life.
IL-OB (OILBLOK)
This new method of industrial laundering is specifically used for garments with Red Kap’s exclusive OilBlok Technology finish. Water temperatures of 140°F or less with a max temp of 150°F and cleaning agency with moderate pH (9.0 max) are used to remove heavy soil without negatively affecting the finish. As with Heavy Soil Industrial Laundering, accelerated fading, increased shrinkage and reduced service life may occur.
IL-LS (LIGHT SOIL)
This less aggressive industrial laundering process is commonly used on uniforms which are lightly soiled or made of fabrics that are not designed to withstand higher wash temperatures or harsher chemistry. In a typical light soil formula, water temperatures are usually held
to a maximum of 140°F and pH to 10.5 max.
