Mission Linen Supply’s Chino facility has renewed its Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council accreditation, an achievement that requires an inspection and assures customers that the highest quality and safety standards are being met. Mission’s decision, as an independent laundry, to become HLAC accredited is completely voluntary. Eight of Mission’s facilities are currently HLAC accredited, and the Chino facility has been HLAC accredited since 2010.
Mission’s acute and sub-acute health care customers benefit because it works with an independent third party to inspect the facility to ensure Mission is meeting, and in some instances exceeding, the highest standards in the industry for processing health care textiles. “Becoming HLAC accredited makes us a better company. It gives our customers peace of mind to know their supplier is meeting the highest health care standards and helps promote safety among our employees,” said Ben Strasshofer, district manager. “Our customers are very important to us, and we pride ourselves on raising our standards to meet or exceed safety and regulatory guidelines.”
