Santa Barbara, CA – October 2, 2012 – Mission Linen Supply, a leader in textile rental and buy direct programs, announced that it has been awarded a uniform and service products contract by Leprino Foods.
Under the agreement Mission Linen will provide uniforms for the more than 580 employees in the company’s Roswell, New Mexico facility. Leprino Foods’ policy is that all employees wear uniforms regardless of their position, consistent with the company’s belief that each team member works with a shared set of values. Mission Linen will also supply logo mats and towels, as well as a full line of microfiber products including mops, towels and dusters. Mission Linen’s El Paso facility will service Leprino’s New Mexico location.
Leprino Foods is the world’s largest mozzarella cheese producer. Headquartered in Denver, CO, Leprino Foods began as a small, family-owned market in Denver selling grocery items and handmade cheese. Their mozzarella cheese, cheese blends and pizza cheese are made especially for pizzeria and foodservice operators, frozen food manufacturers and private label cheese packagers.
“We are pleased with the level of service that Mission Linen provides and confident that they will meet our exacting standards of quality and sanitation,” said Adan Vazquez, Human Resource Training Supervisor at Leprino Foods. “We were particularly impressed with the specially designed storage container they installed to our specifications,” he added. “This will ensure that our garments are properly handled and protected from bacteria while waiting for pickup.”
In selecting Mission Linen Supply, Leprino Foods chose a supplier who was willing to develop a program specialized for their needs. Because their facility is located further down the road than some of their competitors, Mission Linen also proved that they literally “go the extra mile” to their customers.
