This SMS Privacy Statement explains how Mission Linen Supply (“Mission Linen Supply,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with its text message (SMS) communications. It supplements our general Privacy Policy. Where this statement and the general Privacy Policy differ with respect to SMS, this statement governs.

What our SMS program is

Mission Linen Supply uses SMS for one-to-one, service-related conversations between our employees and the business customers they serve. A Mission Linen Supply representative may text the contact at your account about your existing service. Our SMS program is not used for marketing, promotional, bulk, or automated messaging.

Information we collect through SMS

• Your mobile telephone number.
• Your name and the account or location you are associated with.
• The content of the messages you exchange with your Mission Linen Supply representative.
• Basic delivery information (such as whether a message was delivered) provided by our messaging carrier.

How we use this information

We use SMS information solely to communicate with you about your service and to support that communication, including to:

• Coordinate uniform and linen route delivery and pickup timing.
• Confirm or adjust service orders and respond to service requests.
• Follow up on billing and accounts-receivable questions related to your account.
• Respond to messages and requests you send to us.

How we share — and do not share — this information

We share SMS information only with service providers that help us operate the messaging service — for example, our telecommunications and messaging provider — and only to the extent necessary to deliver the messages. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and may not use the information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Your choices

Participation in our SMS program is voluntary. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from your Mission Linen Supply representative. Data retention and security

We retain SMS information for as long as necessary to provide service to your account and to meet our legal and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or de-identified. We use commercially reasonable measures to protect this information, though no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
